TikTok Creativity Program Not Showing Up? Here's Why (and How to Fix It)

If Creator Rewards isn't appearing in your TikTok settings under Creator Tools, there are five common reasons. Most are fixable. A few require time or aren't in your control at all. Here's how to diagnose which situation you're in.

Where to look

Creator Rewards appears at: Profile → menu (top right) → Creator tools → Creator Rewards Program. If it's not there, one of the five reasons below explains why.

Reason 1: Your region isn't supported

The Creator Rewards Program isn't available everywhere. TikTok has been expanding the list of supported regions over time, but as of early 2026, it's still limited to specific countries [UNVERIFIED — TikTok's list of eligible regions changes; verify the current list at TikTok's Creator Portal or help center].

Supported regions at time of writing include the US, UK, France, Germany, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, and others [UNVERIFIED — this list may be incomplete or outdated; check TikTok's official support documentation for the current list].

If your account's registered region isn't on the supported list, the program won't appear in your settings regardless of your follower count or account history.

What you can do: Check TikTok's current list of supported countries. If your region isn't listed, there's no workaround — the program isn't available to you yet. Monitor TikTok's announcements for region expansions.

Reason 2: Your account is set to Business type

Creator Rewards is available for Personal accounts only. If your account is set to Business type — even if you're an individual creator — the program won't appear.

Check your account type at: Profile → menu → Settings and privacy → Account → Switch to Personal account.

What you can do: Switch to a Personal account. Be aware that Business accounts have access to certain analytics and tools that Personal accounts don't — assess whether switching affects your workflow before changing.

Warning

Switching between Business and Personal account types is allowed, but any active TikTok Ads campaigns or Business-specific settings may be affected. If you're running ads, check the implications before switching.

Reason 3: You don't meet the follower or view thresholds

The current requirements for Creator Rewards are:

  • 100,000 views in the last 30 days [UNVERIFIED — TikTok adjusts program requirements; verify current thresholds at TikTok's Creator Portal]
  • 18 years or older
  • Personal account
  • Eligible region

If you're below either threshold, the program option won't appear in your settings until you've met the requirements.

What you can do: Check your current follower count and your 30-day view count in Creator Studio analytics. If you're close to the threshold, the program may appear on its own once you cross it. If you're significantly below, focus on content consistency and view volume before checking again.

Reason 4: Your account has active content violations

Accounts with active Community Guidelines violations or strikes may not see Creator Rewards in their settings until the violation period clears. This includes active warnings, content removals, or account restrictions.

What you can do: Go to Profile → menu → Settings and privacy → Account → Account status to see if there are any active strikes or violations. If there are, the Creator Rewards option may return once the violation period expires, depending on severity.

If you believe a violation was applied in error, the appeal process is covered in the appeal rejection guide linked below.

Reason 5: App cache or account sync issue

Occasionally the program simply doesn't appear due to a display glitch — especially after TikTok updates. This is less common than the other reasons but worth ruling out.

What to try:

  1. Clear the TikTok app cache: Profile → Settings and privacy → Free Up Space → Clear Cache
  2. Log out and back into your account
  3. Update the TikTok app to the current version
  4. Check TikTok Studio on desktop (studio.tiktok.com) — sometimes Creator tools appear there before updating in the mobile app

If the option still doesn't appear after clearing cache and updating the app, the issue is one of the four substantive reasons above, not a display glitch.

If none of these apply

If you meet all the requirements — Personal account, eligible region, 10K+ followers, 100K+ views in 30 days, 18+, no active violations — and Creator Rewards still doesn't appear, contact TikTok support directly:

Profile → menu → Settings and privacy → Support → Report a problem

Include your account information and a description of what you've checked. TikTok support response times vary, but this is the correct channel for account-specific issues.

Pro Tip

If you're on the edge of the view threshold — say, 80,000–95,000 views in the last 30 days — the option may appear and disappear depending on when TikTok checks your metrics. Keep posting consistently and check back in a few days.

Frequently asked questions

I had Creator Rewards before and now it's gone. Why? If Creator Rewards disappears after you were previously enrolled, it's usually because your account fell below the ongoing eligibility thresholds (view count or follower count dipped), or your account received a new violation. Check your metrics and account status.

Does the Creator Rewards option appear before I formally apply? Yes — seeing the option in Creator Tools is the first step. You still need to tap it and complete the application process to be enrolled.

Can I apply from outside my home region? The eligibility check is based on your account's registered region, not your current physical location. Traveling to an ineligible region while your account is registered in an eligible one doesn't affect your status [UNVERIFIED — verify with TikTok support if you're uncertain about your account's registered region].

Does follower count above 10,000 make me more likely to be approved? The threshold is a minimum — meeting it doesn't guarantee approval, but being significantly above it doesn't improve your odds in ways TikTok has made explicit. Content compliance and account health matter more than being well above the threshold.
